Connecticut

Peter's looking out the living room window when he sees Will's rental pull up. "Car!" he calls out to Will's mom, and takes a closer look. When he sees a figure in the front seat, he frowns. "And he's brought someone with him."

He's been helping Inez Porter get things ready for Will's visit, the both of them excited to see him. But Will hadn't told them anything about bringing someone along.

"Who is it, sweetie?" Inez asks, emerging from the kitchen where she's been getting lunch ready for her boys.

"I don't know," Peter shrugs. "Kevin maybe? He could have changed his mind about coming."

"Well, it's about damn time," Inez says. "What kind of man doesn't want to meet his boyfriend's family?"

Peter laughs and kisses her on the cheek. "Let's find out, shall we?"

In the car, Will looks over at Orli and smiles. Blade's happily perched in Orli's lap, looking every inch the proper little gentleman.

"I feel that I should warn you that my mom is a serial cheek pincher, and Pete has no idea you're coming. So, if you get shrieked at while your face is getting squeezed, I apologize now."

For the folks who've offered their help, Will won't feel comfortable coming right out and telling everyone he needs them, so if he's said no or is hemming and hawing, feel free to have your pup show up in Seattle, anyway. I know that things won't go as smoothly as Will plans, so he'll be grateful for friendly faces. I hate to do this to my baby, but I am expecting Kevin to get violent because he's going to have evidence that Will's seeing someone else.

I know that it might look like Will's moving pretty fast with Orlando, but like his friend Logan says, Orli's also given Will the courage to leave a bad situation. I know this is all a game, but my paranoid self feels the need for the following disclaimer: I don't advocate cheating on someone's partner and I don't advocate domestic violence. I definitely don't think Kevin's response to Will's cheating will be justified in any way. Right now, Will's swept up in Orli, but reality is going to come crashing down on him very soon.

I have a thread I'd like to complete (the "Connecticut" one) before I start up the Seattle one where Will goes home to confront Kevin. I'll keep tagging the current threads talking about Kevin/the situation, but I figure once the Seattle one starts, those can end, if that's cool.
