I swear, I can't remember the last time I updated this thing. I was doing so well with writing every day and then I lost my job and ended up doing something crazy like getting a life where I don't have to be at my computer all day. I guess it helps that I've had things to do around here and I can be up with Kev and his crazy schedule. When Kev's not here, I've been writing, but I've been doing that in notebooks like I did as a kid. It's easier for me somehow and doesn't feel like work the way sitting at a computer does.

Anyway, the reason I had to write after all this time is because I've been propositioned.

Remember my mother's lesbians? Yeah, me neither. I mean, they were sweet and everything when I met them, but I kind of forgot about them once I got back to Seattle. Anyway, guess who they told my mom they'd like to be a sperm donor? I almost dropped the phone. And I haven't even thought about discussing it with Kevin yet.

Part of me thinks, "Aw, I can do so much to help them, and it'll be a real gift."

Part of me thinks, "Cool, I'll be a dad, and I won't have any of the responsibility that goes with it."

Part of me thinks, "Damn, I'll be a dad, and I might be expected to actually care."

I guess those last two are basically the same thought. Nothing's been discussed at this point. Mom said she was "floating the idea." I think I need to talk to the lesbians myself and see if it was really their idea or if Mom's just trying to pump a grandchild out of me by any means necessary.

Well, I'm still enjoying the house husband thing, but I'm going to keep your offer in mind when I'm ready to return to the work force.

House Husband? Aaawww! That's so domestic! *beam* Anyway...Sure thing. No problem *Hands over a card with a name and Number* That's David, he sort of takes care of...well nearly everything I own. Just call him when you are ready...He'll call me, sort of.

*laughs* It's very domestic and I'm more surprised than anyone that I'm enjoying myself.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. Hopefully I wouldn't have much more involvement after I jerk off in a cup.

Be careful with that whole father thing, cause it could bite you in the ass later on in life.

That's what's giving me pause. They may say they don't expect me to be there for the kid now, but what if something happens later and I have to take care of it? I'd hope I'd be the absolute last resort if anything happened to them. I'm talking the "after the mailman and the accountant" type of last resort.

Honestly that's how you feel about it, then I wouldn't even bother being a donor at all. I mean if you have a kid out there, then you shouldn't ever feel an obligation to take care of them, or fear that you might one day have too.

I think there may be legal ways to ensure that doesn't happen. This is all speculation on my part. I'm pretty sure they only want a deposit and then it's bye Will. I'll call Mom later.

You may feel cool with being a dad, but do you really know them well enough to decide you'd want them as the mothers?

Well, they're going to have it and raise it and I'm not going to have anything to do with it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm just contributing some DNA to the kid, which I don't mind doing. I really have no plans to be tied to it.

*raised eyebrow* Interesting idea to have been 'floated' to you by your Mom...

If you were to do this, what role do you see yourself having in this kid's life? I might be old fashioned, but either your a Dad who's involved and an active participant, or your a sperm donor with no ties or real connection. Are these women really looking for a Dad or just someone they know to supply the sperm?

I'm just happy she's finally off her kick about getting me and Peter back together.

I believe the lesbians are looking for what's behind door number two. Apparently, they told my mom they liked my smile and sense of humor. So, I'm sure I'm just traits to them, which I don't have a problem with at all.

She hasn't met Kevin yet has she?

*smiles* It's always good to hear that someone else likes your traits!

She hasn't, no. She spoke to him on the phone once, but the jury's still out about whether or not she likes him. She said he sounded cocky but sweet, so there you go.

And, yeah, I have to admit it's flattering that someone would want to breed with me, but I do need to find out all the details before I agree to anything.

It's hard to tell much about a person over the phone, any plans on introducing them?

*nods* And a good lawyer is always helpful in that type of situation too, I would think.

I would love for Mom to fly out here and meet him. I'd like Peter to meet him, too. It's really important to me that they know what he's like and love him, too. Well, they don't have to love him, but you know what I mean.

Yeah, I'll get some names from Kevin if this looks like it'll happen. I'll have told him by then. *grins*
