Orlando snugs in close, letting Will warm him back up, inside and out. "It's darling," he says with a big smile. "It's like a little country house, and it's all ours!"

He couldn't be more pleased with the way Will seems to read his mind, and know when he wants some down time. He kisses him gratefully. "It's perfect, sweetheart."

Will beams, ecstatic that Orlando likes the place. "I'm glad you think so," he says, rubbing Orli's back and hugging him tight. "I've always wanted to live in a little cottage and now we get to borrow one."

Orlando looks at him, a little surprised. "You have? I didn't know that!"

"Yup," he nods, helping Orli out of his coat. "It's always been my dream to live in a little cottage in Scotland with my sweetheart and a bunch of dogs. I'd enjoy the solitude and write novels." He slips off his own coat and smiles sheepishly. "I even thought that Peter would be the one I'd be living with."

"I had no idea," Orlando says with a smile. "I don't know about Scotland, but I suppose we could look at some cottages around."

"Baby, you are the sweetest thing, you know that?" Will grins, taking Orli's hand and leading him over to the bed. "But I love where we're living. Getting away like this is fine, but that's my dream home. Living with you in that beautiful house is what I want to do now."

"I dunno," Orlando says. "It's got a lot of history. I really wouldn't mind if you wanted something different." He sits down on the edge of the bed. "I want it to be perfect."

Will tilts his head, thinking for a moment before he crouches in front of Orli and starts taking off his shoes.

"I hadn't thought about that," he says. "Do you want us to look for a place of our very own?"

"Maybe," Orlando nods. "I just... sometimes I think too much there."

Will can think of a million things that Orlando would think about in that house, but he won't say anything about it.

"What have I told you about thinking?" he teases gently, sitting on the bed to take off his own shoes. "But what do you think about, baby?" he asks, kissing Orli on the cheek.

Orlando snuggles up and kisses his neck while he's bent over. "People. Things. Lots of things."

"Things that make you feel bad?"

"Sometimes," Orlando admits, pressing his face against Will's skin. "It makes me miss people sometimes. People I shouldn't even think about."

Will nods and puts an arm around Orli's shoulders. "Ex lovers," he says softly.

Orlando nods. "And friends." He leans into Will's embrace. "I'm sorry. It's Valentine's Day, and I shouldn't be talking like this."

"It's okay. I know you don't like Valentine's Day. I mean, I found out before we left, but by then it was too late to change our plans." He kisses Orli's hair and inhales slowly. "Why don't you relax, I'll get us a couple of drinks and we can talk?"

Orlando takes his hand. "I like every day with you," he explains. "Thank you for this. It's exactly the sort of getaway I love."

Will smiles and kisses Orli's hand. "I love every day with you, sweetheart, you know that. It's..." He shrugs and gets up. "This is my first Valentine's Day with someone I really and truly love. And then I find out he hates the holiday."

He walks over to the small kitchen and looks in the cupboards. As requested, they'd been stocked with the items he'd requested, including a bottle of his favorite scotch.

Orlando waits on the bed and feels like shit. "I'm sorry, Will."

Shaking his head, Will pours drinks for them both. "It's okay, baby," he says, taking Orli his drink and sitting next to him. "I mean, you're entitled to dislike any damn holiday you choose." He puts an arm around Orlando's shoulders and nuzzles his ear. "It's something I should have found out instead of making assumptions."

"No," Orlando says quietly. "You went to all this trouble, and now I'm ruining it. It's stupid and selfish of me."

"You're not ruining anything," Will says softly, "and you're not stupid or selfish. I just want to spend time alone with you so we can snuggle and talk get all mushy." He smiles. "Seriously, baby, I just assumed since the majority of people in relationships like Valentine's Day, you would, too, and I was looking forward to having a special day with you. That's all. I was wrong."

Orlando gives him a little smile. "I like the snuggling and being mushy," he admits. "I just think it should be every day."

"I hate to break it to you, sweetlips, but I think it is every day." Will chuckles softly and give Orli a little kiss. "It's just not always in a cottage."

"But it could be. Maybe we should look at house plans and have something built, just for us?"
