Orlando had been straightening things almost obsessively since he'd gotten up. He'd changed the sheets on the bed to the new ones he'd bought and laundered the day before. The fireplace was full, ready for a warm fire later.

A stew was cooking, filling the house with the smell of chicken and vegetables, and he'd even splurged on a breadmaker, and had his first ever loaf of bread cooking.

It was almost disturbingly domestic, but it pleased him. It was good to be back in this smaller house, with no maid, no guards on duty outside. All he had to do now was go retreive his pets this week, and he would feel completely at home again.

And soon, Will would be here, helping it feel more like home again than ever.

The trip had taken Will a little longer than expected because he hadn't factored in traffic. So, by the time he pulls up to the house, he's feeling antsy, buzzing with the excitement of seeing Orlando again. Humming the last song he heard on the radio, he gets the bakery boxes out of the car, balances them in one hand and grabs the bouquet with the other. He'll come back for his overnight bag.

Whistling now, he quickly walks to the front door and uses his elbow to ring the bell.

Orlando practically slams the lid back onto the stew pot and runs to the front door. He peeks through the peephole, just in case it's a journalist, then he throws the door open. "Will!" He'd grab him and hug him if Will's arms weren't already completely full.

"Let me help," he offers instead, taking the boxes, then he gives him a one armed embrace and kisses him tenderly. "It's so good to see you, baby."

"God, you too, sweetheart," Will grins and makes a pleased little humming sound as he kisses Orli again. He adds two more pecks for good measure and gives his bum a little pat. "You look good enough to eat." Sniffing, he smiles when he smells the stew and the bread. "And if you're not cooking, you smell good enough to eat, too."

"I am cooking!" Orlando says proudly. "Trying to make it as much like your mum's house as possible," he says with a grin. "Now come inside so I can snog you properly without all the neigbors watching!"

"Shit, can you believe I didn't think about that?" Will says, quickly stepping inside.

"By the way, these are for the chef," he says, presenting the flowers to Orli with a little bow. "I can't believe you're cooking," he adds with a grin.

"These are gorgeous," Orlando says with a happy smile. "And I can cook! Some things at least," he admits with a sheepish grin. "I'm just hoping the bread works out," he says with a chuckle. "Now come here, Mr. Porter," he instructs, and pulls him close.

"Welcome to my home," he purrs as he kisses him slowly and thoroughly.

Will's free arms goes back around Orlando, holding him tightly as they kiss. He's completely filled with feelings of love and warmth, of belonging, and it really does feel as if he's come home. When the kiss ends, he's smiling brightly.

"I hope you don't welcome everyone that way."

Orlando pretends to think for a moment. "Only the really gorgeous ones who bring pastries and flowers," he finally decides, then kisses Will's nose. "Where's your bag? Or are you really planning on staying nude all weekend?"

Laughing, Will shakes his head. "The bag's in the car. Although I'll be happy to spend most of the weekend nude."

"Works for me," Orlando says, pulling him close again by his belt loops. "I've got plenty of firewood and snuggly blankets in case we get cold." He kisses Will once more. "But we probably need clothes for the ride."

"Yeah, I don't want to stick to the bike seat," Will grins and kisses Orli's neck. "I love that it's gotten colder and I can snuggle with you all weekend, you know. Fireside kissing is some of the best." He raises his head. "Want to put this stuff away and get one going?"

"Sounds brilliant. You go retrieve your bag, and I'll put these beauties in water." He looks over at the pastry boxes. "Tea, coffee or cocoa with those?" he asks.

"Coffee for me, please," Will says, smiling. "I'm a junkie." He gives Orli a kiss on the cheek, then nuzzles his ear. "I'm so happy to be here, baby," he whispers, just feeling the need to tell him that. "I'll be right back!"

Orlando watches him go out the door, then turns back to the kitchen with a huge smile. He gets a vase from the pantry and puts the flowers in it, then starts the coffee brewing. He turns the kettle on at about the same time he hears the door again, and he gets down two mugs.

This feels so right.

Will makes quick work of getting his bag from the car, eager to get back to Orlando. When he walks back inside the house, he can't help smiling at how good it feels. He's a firm believer that every home's energy is a reflection of its owner, and this one is definitely as loving and warm as Orli.

He sets his bag down in the front hall and goes to find Orlando in the kitchen. There's a little tug of excitement in his belly when he sees him and it feels like coming home.

"Hey," he says from the doorway, grinning. "Need any help?"

Orlando turns around and looks at him with a smile. "Yeah, I do. C'mere."

Will walks over to him and slips his arms around his waist. "At your service."

Orlando puts his arms around Will's neck. "Thank you for my flowers," he says softly, and kisses him. "And for coming to visit this weekend," and he kisses him again. "And for being so bloody gorgeous and sweet, too." He smiles at him warmly and kisses him once more.

"I just want to spend some quiet time with you."

"I think quiet time is exactly what we need," Will says, brushing his lips over Orlando's. "I've been worried about you being here alone," he whispers.

Orlando smiles a little. "Here, I'm all right. There was a time when I thought I'd never want to live here again, but things are different now." He ghosts a kiss over Will's mouth. "Now I've got you, and I'm not going to live in the past any more."

Will can't help smiling when he hears that. "Yeah, you do have me, Orli," he nods slowly, rubbing a hand over his back. "I'm completely yours for as long as you want me."

Orlando's still smiling when his lips meet Will's but soon he's moaning softly, letting his tongue twine with his, and pulling him closer, shifting his hips and seeking just the right friction.

Until the kettle whistles and makes him jump.

Will had jumped, too, and he giggles as he touches his forehead to Orli's. "You Brits and your tea," he grins before letting him go tend to the kettle.

"Where are your little plates?" he asks. "I should make myself useful."

Orlando's beaming as he turns to pour the hot water into his mug. "Up there, over the coffeepot. What do you take with your coffee?" He puts a packet of PG Tips in to steep.

It feels as good as he thought it would, having Will here.
