I know he's concerned, so don't take anything the wrong way, but... God, he can be such a caveman.

*sighs*

He keeps telling me it's too soon for me to feel the way I do about you, and he thinks it's because I'm more interested in your image than you. And he said that one day you'll wake up and toss me aside once you're done with me. He and Mom both seem to think you don't know what you're doing and I'm basically a band aid. Once you feel better, I'm history. Mom doesn't even give us three months. I told them I wouldn't even care if that was the case, you know. I'm happy with you here and now and I can't control the future.

They've got every right to be concerned. But see, the thing is, I've known I was gay since I was a kid. It was my last relationship where people said I'd wake up and throw it away, and unfortunately, they were right.
