Interview questions

ooc: Here are other questions Will answered for that interview meme (just wanted to get everything in one place):

From [livejournal.com profile] _call_me_snake_

1. If the world ended right now what would you most regret having not done?
2. What is sex appeal?
3. Do you believe in any conspiracies? If so which one(s)?
4. What song do you think best encompasses who you are?
5. What's your favorite drink?

1. I'd be sad that I never got to visit Scotland, but I'd regret not having more time with Kevin.

2. I think sex appeal changes depending on how well you know someone. With a stranger, their sex appeal causes that pull in your gut that makes you want to be with that person. Could be their face, their body, their smile - something extremely attractive to you that makes you want to fuck them, basically. Then, as you get to know them, they could have a sexy way of thinking, or it could be their sense of humor or confidence that's even more appealing than the physical thing that initially got your attention. To me, sex appeal means a great smile, smarts, a good heart, and the ability to make me laugh.

3. I believe that the oil companies are in cahoots with the government to ensure that car manufacturers stall the mass production of vehicles that don't need fossil fuels to run.

4. It's Raining Men. Just kidding. I'd have to say, We Are the Champions. It started out as a song I'd listen to before tournaments, and then it sort of became a personal anthem. (It took on a whole new meaning for me after I found out Freddie Mercury was gay, too.) Maybe it's more nostalgic than anything, but that's all I can think of right now.

5. Glenlivet, neat. I have one every night after work.

1. What would you rather watch, a crappy sequel or a crappy book-adaptation?
2. Do you have any allergies?
3. What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?
4. Do you believe in ghosts?
5. How do you feel today?

1. A crappy sequel. Crappy book adaptations usually piss me off, but crappy sequels make me laugh.

2. Other than an intolerance for bullshit, I'm allergy-free!

3. I got drunk one night and almost fell off the roof of my high school. The hanging-off-the-ledge-and-having-to-be-pulled-back-up kind of almost falling. Though, I did that to myself. The scariest thing that wasn't my own fault was when I honestly thought my dad was going to kill me.

4. There was a time I'd have said no because I've never seen anything like that. But I've met people who do believe in them and I have no reason to doubt their sincerity. So...I believe there are strange things out there that we can't explain.

5. Excited and tired! I'm packing to move in with my boyfriend.

1. What is your biggest fear?
2. if you could go back in time would you change anything?
3. what is your favorite season?
4. if you could have one thing in the world, what would itr be?
5. what is your favorite genre of movies?

1. My biggest fear is losing my mom. I know it's inevitable, and I know that I'll survive it just like everyone else has survived loss, but that's the one thing that I worry about the most at this point in my life.

2. I would never have gotten married.

3. Fall. I love seeing the world slowing down and getting ready for winter.

4. A material thing I would want is a Lamborghini Diablo Roadster VT *smiles*

Otherwise, the one thing I want is to leave the world a better place than when I entered it.

5. Hmm, it depends on my mood. But it's a toss up between musicals and suspense/horror flicks.

From [livejournal.com profile] sgc_spybarbie

1. If income were not a concern, what career would you want to pursue?
2. What childhood memory makes you grin?
3. If you could bring one famous person back to life, who would you ressurect?
4. Would you rather be stupid and happy or brilliant and sad?
5. Your absolute favorite place to be... and why?

1. I'd be a writer. Not saying I'd be a good one, but it's my dream job.

2. My dad was shoveling snow from the sidewalk in front of our house. I think I was about six. I was sitting on the stoop, watching him, when these kids rode by on their bicycles and pelted him with snowballs. I didn't recognize them, and I never found out why they did it, but it was the funniest thing to see. He took off after them, screaming and shouting, slipped on some ice and went down hard. He was fine, though. But I can't forget the look of shock on his face when he got hit, and then when he went down.

3. Marilyn Monroe. I'd want to know what the hell happened the night she died!

4. Hmm... Stupid and happy. I like the idea of being brilliant, but I know I'd hate being sad. If I was stupid and happy, I'd never think twice about the fact that I was an idiot. But if I was brilliant, my sadness would probably be impossible to live with, and I'd constantly wonder why, if I'm so damn smart, can't I make myself stop being so damn sad!

5. At the risk of sounding like an unbelievable sap, I'd have to say at home on a Sunday morning with Kevin. When we're curled up on the couch together, reading the paper and drinking our coffee, there isn't anywhere I'd rather be.

1. You got a weapon of choice? What is it?
2. The hell do you for a livin' anyway?
3. So, you're sly. I ain't interested, I like womenfolk too much, but I'm wonderin' what a sly guy thinks of a guy like me.
4. You got family? What're they like?
5. When didja figure out you were sly?

1. Chopsticks. Handy for eating my sashimi AND stabbing someone in the eye, should the need arise. Actually, my boyfriend's got some guns he wants to teach me how to use. Maybe I'll have a weapon of choice after I do that. For now, I do most of my killing with a shoe or a rolled up magazine.

2. Short answer: I work under the vice president of a bank. Long answer: I sit behind a desk, push a lot of paper to make my boss look good, approve a few loans, manage a few accounts, wish I had that much money to play with, go to boring social functions in my boss's place, and write up reports letting my boss's boss know how everything's going.

3. Sly? *grins* I like that. I'm sly. I have to use that. Anyway, you're not interested; duly noted. I can't speak for all sly guys everywhere, but as for what I think of a guy like you, I'd have to say I'm intrigued, you're kinda cute, and I would want to go out with you if you were so inclined. You seem interesting and the world needs more interesting people. I know some people who'd be turned off by the machismo, but I think it's great.

4. My father passed away. He was an asshole. My mother's still alive and she's one of the sweetest people I know, she's very supportive and is basically the only family I have. I have an uncle on my dad's side, but he and Dad were always estranged so I don't really know him. I had an aunt on my mom's side, but she passed away when I was little. So, it's just me and Mom, really. And Peter. He's my best friend. I'm living with my boyfriend, now, so, in a way, he's family, too. I mean, I'd probably marry him if I could.

5. This is tricky. I came out a little over a year ago, and that's really the first time I let myself acknowledge my slyness. Before that, I'd spent my life constantly trying to "fix" the fact that I was attracted to men, without ever stopping to say, "Hey, maybe I'm just gay and I need to accept that." My dad had a lot to do with that, though. He'd literally kill me if I confirmed his suspicions that I was queer. So, I guess I've always known in the back of my head that I was gay, but it wasn't until very recently that I've embraced it.

1. How do you know when someone's telling the truth?
2. Do you believe in mercy killing?
3. What person have you lost contact with over the years that you wish you could see again?
4. Name three people, either living or dead, you really love to have a conversation with, and ask questions of for real.
5. Ever had a threesome?

1. I can't ever really know if someone's telling the truth. Depending on who the person is, I just have to have faith that they are.

2. Yes.

3. I had a friend in college named Marcus Jackson. Great guy, fun friend, and I'd love to see him again. He was my closest friend when I was away at school. I don't know how we lost touch, but I guess that just happens. I should try to find him.

4. Marilyn Monroe, Jesus Christ, and Stephen King.

5. Nope

From [livejournal.com profile] logan_maxwell

1. What is your greatest strength?
2. What is your favorite season and why?
3. Do you have a quirky habit and if so, what is it?
4. Where is your favorite vacation location?
5. Something you would love to do or try but haven't yet. And why haven't you?

1. I think it's my patience. I've been in a lot of situations where it's come in handy. I don't know why, but under most (normal) circumstances it takes a lot to push my buttons enough to make me blow up. I have to exempt my ex wife from that. There's no way I can be patient with her, anymore.

2. Fall, definitely. I love it when the weather turns cooler and you can feel summer slipping away. The days start getting shorter and the leaves turn on the trees. I just love seeing everything getting ready for winter, but there isn't quite the hassle of snow and ice, yet. It's a really romantic season, to me.

3. I had to ask Kevin to help me out with this one. I don't really notice these things about myself. He said I have a little ritual I do every time I fix myself a cup of coffee. I don't know how quirky that is, but he's right, I do have a ritual. It's mainly to do with the order stuff goes in and the way I stir. Now I'm going to be really conscious of it. *grins*

4. Snoqualmie Falls. It's about 30-something miles from Seattle, absolutely gorgeous, and it's the first place Kevin and I went away together.

5. I want to go sky diving. I haven't yet because no one wants to go with me. I think Kev would do it if I asked him.

Please let Will know if anyone was missed :-)

*winces AGAIN at Jayne's questions*

He's so... *shakes head* Odd.

*laughs* It's okay. I had fun answering them.

After I came out, some of my straight male friends asked me if I ever found them attractive. It amuses me.
